I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Neurophotonics Lab (PI: Prof. Vivek J. Srinivasan) at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in New York City, USA. In this lab, I am using various interferometric diffuse optics techniques to study blood flow in the brain and other areas non-invasively. I am also a part of the National Center for Interventional Biophotonic Technologies (NCIBT) at UC Davis, CA, USA [Link]. Before this position, I earned an Integrated M.Sc.+Ph.D. degree in Physics from Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai, India, under the guidance of Prof. Sushil Mujumdar, and a bachelor's degree in Physics from Midnapore College (Autonomous) , West Bengal, India.
